Installation & User Guide

Install the UrbanCortex HubSpot app, verify the CRM card is visible, and understand what permissions are requested.

STEP 1

Install the UrbanCortex HubSpot App

Open the installation link, review requested permissions, and approve the installation.

Install read-only CRM card Install with write-back enabled
Use the read-only option unless you specifically need results written back into HubSpot properties.
Default read-only: crm.objects.contacts.read
Write-back enabled: crm.objects.contacts.write
STEP 2

Verify installation

Open any HubSpot Contact record, scroll to the CRM cards section, and locate the UrbanCortex card. If the card is visible, installation is complete.

STEP 3

Using UrbanCortex inside HubSpot

UrbanCortex displays summary-level insights, updates automatically based on the Contact address, and requires no user action once installed.

STEP 4

Security and permissions

UrbanCortex reads Contact address data to generate CRM card results. It does not create new HubSpot records, does not overwrite existing address fields, and does not upload files into HubSpot.
